In this study, anti-micro algal and antifouling activity of a series of n-hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol extracts from four sections of sea cucumber Holothuria leucospilota (body wall, gonad, digestive tract and respiratory tree) were investigated. Anti-microalgal assay against two microalgae species Chlorella vulgaris and Isochrysis galbana was conducted to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for each extract. The best extracts were added to resin epoxy and applied on fiberglass panels (10×10cm). All panels were immersed in the Persian Gulf (Bandar-e-Gorzeh) for three months. Results indicated that ethyl acetate extract of the body wall had the best inhibitory activity against I. galbana, with MIC of 0.062 mg/mL. Based on field results, the panel coated with 4% ethyl acetate extract from body wall added to resin epoxy had the lowest final weight (123.33±8.32g) and lowest fouling cover percentage (57.8%) among all panels after three months‏ (p < 0.05). Regarding the high antifouling activity of ethyl acetate extract from the body wall of sea cucumber H. leucospilota, its use as a potential alternative to commercial biocides in antifouling coats is suggestable.}, keywords = {Fiberglass,secondary metabolites,Biofouling,Microalgae}, title_fa = {استفاده از ترکیبات زیست‌فعال خیار ‌دریایی (Holothuria leucospilota) در پوشش رزین اپوکسی با هدف تهیه پوشش‌های آنتی‌فولینگ دوستدار محیط زیست}, abstract_fa = {استفاده از مواد آنتیفولینگ طبیعی یک رویکرد جدید و مناسب برای حل مشکل جهانی فولینگ زیستی به شمار میآید. در مطالعه حاضر، فعالیت ضدمیکروجلبکی و آنتیفولینگی عصارههای انهگزانی، متانولی و اتیل استاتی چهار اندام خیاردریایی Holothuria leucospilota شامل دیواره بدن، گناد، لوله گوارش و درخت تنفسی بررسی شد. فعالیت ضدمیکروجلبکی عصارهها بر دو میکروجلبک Chlorella vulgaris و Isochrysis galbana با هدف تعیین کمترین غلظت بازدارندگی (MIC) آزمایش شد. سپس بهترین عصارهها برای بررسی فعالیت آنتیفولینگی در محیط دریا در قالب پوشش رزین اپوکسی روی پنلهای فایبرگلاس (10×10 سانتی‌متری) رنگآمیزی شد و به مدت سه ماه در خلیج فارس (بندر گرزه) قرار گرفتند. نتایج نشان داد که عصاره اتیل استاتی دیواره بدن با کمترین MIC به میزان 062/0 میلیگرم در میلیلیتر در مقابل میکروجلبک I. galbana دارای بهترین عملکرد بازدارندگی بود. در پایان دوره سه ماهه آزمایش در دریا، پنل رنگ شده با رزین اپوکسی همراه با 4 درصد عصاره اتیل استاتی دیواره بدن دارای کمترین وزن نهایی به میزان 32/8 ± 33/123 گرم و همچنین کمترین درصد پوشش فولینگ به میزان 8/57 درصد در مقایسه با سایر پنلهای رزین اپوکسی با غلظتهای مختلف عصاره بود (05/0>P). با توجه به فعالیت بالای آنتیفولینگی عصاره اتیل استاتی دیواره بدن H. leucospilota استفاده از آن به عنوان جایگزین بالقوه ترکیبات آنتی‌فولینگی سمی در رنگهای آنتیفولینگ قابل پیشنهاد است.}, keywords_fa = {فایبرگلاس,متابولیت‌ ثانویه,فولینگ‌زیستی,میکروجلبک}, url = {https://japb.guilan.ac.ir/article_4258.html}, eprint = {https://japb.guilan.ac.ir/article_4258_b7efd435d0b9997102e19b92d65b12eb.pdf} }
